The unique value of Health Coaching is supporting clients in becoming experts on themselves by generating insight, tapping into internal wisdom and increasing self knowledge. Motivational interviewing and positive psychology are the cornerstones for health coaching and elicit positive behavior change. Health coaching has become an essential resource for those who want to make lasting changes to their health and wellness.
Your health coach will:
Guide clients through tailored wellness plans from the physician, focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep patterns, hydration, stress management, and mental well-being.
Partner with clients to construct personal goals and action steps
Help clients identify possible challenges or roadblocks that are impeding change
Assist clients to uncover the “why” for their desired change (which is key for motivation)
Specialize in accountability, focused action, and goal achievement
Provide support, encouragement, motivation and education
Coaching sessions are done 1 to 1 and begin with building a foundation of trust. Sessions are usually done bi-monthly and last 30 to 45 minutes, depending upon your needs. Health coach sessions can be purchased individually or in packages of 6 (partnering with you for 3 months) or 12 (partnering with you for 6 months). These can be in person in our New Hope, Pennsylvania office or virtually from the comfort of your couch.
